[Android] Droid Dev Chanllenge

In the spirit of the Android Developers Challenge (by Google.com) and the Android Bounty (by http://androidandme.com) I have decided to start a contest of a similar nature. The challenge is to create an Android 1.5 compatible widget. Donations will be accepted and the winner will receive the total donated amount (the site will not keep any, only paypal fees will be subtracted).

本家のADCの第2段の動向は不透明ですが、android-dls.comというところで、Droid Dev Challengeというのをやっているようです。
締切は5月末で、賞金は寄付によって賄われるようです。現在、エントリーが15組で、寄付が$620とまだまだ小規模ですが、なかなか面白い取組だと思います。コンテストのテーマも、SDK1.5のWidgetに限定ということで、よい所をねらっている気がします。
PayPalを使って寄付ができるので、かなり気軽に寄付できそうです。日本でも、もう少しポピュラーな送金の仕組みがあると、こんな感じの取り組みが増えるかもしれないと感じました。
このようなコンテストは、賞金の大きさよりも、寄付をするという行為や、コンテストに応募するために作品を作るという行為自体に意味があるような気がしています。
日本Andoridの会でも、こんな感じの取り組みができるとおもしろいなぁと感じました。
